Our love is like a rose Delicate, soft, beautiful Each petal expressing a love Your eyes. Your smile. Your laugh, your walk Your humor, your grace The way you outshine everyone With a beauty that grows within Many layers that lead to the core Your lips, your hands Your whisper, your breath Your body, your words The way you make me feel special When you hold me in your arms. The core of our love is forever lasting Your warmth, your kindness Your gentleness, your loyalty Your giving, your concern Your amazing sweet and tender soul That links us together in a connection That can never be broken Together we will flourish and grow And live our lives surrounded By the classic beauty of our rose. |
