Your smile sits so inviting on your
           strong and handsome face..
Your hair is perfectly in sync,
Not one strand out of place..
You truly have an image that is honest,
                 I surmise..
I only find one tiny flaw:
         Your glasses hide your eyes!

      I'm not complaining, heaven knows,
           for I wear glasses, too..
And though you've told me, and I know,
         Your eyes are softest blue..
     I'm cursed with curiosity...a female
               trait, I'm told..
I'd like to look into your eyes,
           And down into your soul....

I'd like to see the spark ignite,
         When emerald eyes meet blue..
And when your passion rises, do they
            change to deeper hue?
Do you close your eyes when kissing lips
              a sweet goodnight?
Or do you watch your love's effect,
            uncloak in sheer delight?

       Just some simple questions asked,
             to satisfy my mind..
I think that you are special,
          quite romantically inclined..
When next you see your image in your
                  mirror,
                I will, too..
              Across the miles,
             My eyes will smile,
           Into your eyes of blue....

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

Hi Auguste..
Oh, I'm glad to see that you
liked this one, and also glad to
see that you chose the paint
icon for your own. You are quite
the artist yourself, and for your
            thoughtful words, I thank you!!!

Sunny, this is so cool, has the longing, and the humor, and the romanticism. Our song for the men so far away

you inspired a Cinquain with this wonderful poem:

Your Eyes

Your eyes
I see with love
I'm lost in their embrace
Forever craving all you are
I'm yours

A'hhh Sunny, you write with tenderness in your heart, with passion from your being, and with desire in your eyes. Yes indeed, poems of yours have touched me, and you are a talent in your own right.

I haven't been on for awhile, as I have been very busy, and I am very glad I came by today. Thanks Sunny.
