             Each day

She does not guide nor does she hide
But stays and whispers at my side.
Enchanting me like morning's dew
With new born shadows passing thru.

Like odors, at the break of dawn
Scenting scents of those unborn.
Gliding all upon the mist.
Touching every turn and twist.

Delights me with her downy gay
Like bobbing butterflies at play.
Chitchats with the birds that sing
Their wakefulness in early spring.

She steeps her humor like a tea
And serve it to me guiltlessly.
With plumb uniqueness of a child
And wisdom of the undefiled.

She banquets me. A shameless spread.
Until enchantment fills my sled
She fills my heart and head with deeds
Beyond contentment of my needs.

In constant play of Santa Claus
And I a child, in wild applause.

"She steeps her humor like a tea
And serve it to me guiltlessly."

Lots of delightful lines in this, Seymour, but I liked this one in particular.

Very pretty ~

I absolutely love this one. Some of your lines are very original. You have a wonderful muse. Tell us when she says, "Seymour, don't want to chit-chat this morning."       marcy
