"Just One Minute" - The Procrastinator

"You want it NOW, this little task?"
   "I couldn't possibly!"
"Just wait a minute, give me time,"
   "A bit bogged down, you see."

An hour passes, "No can do!"
   As sixty minutes fly;
"My list is longer, time is short,"
   "I'm really gonna try!"

Tomorrow comes, it's been a day,
   The hours ... twenty-four;
"That cannot be! Where did time go?"
   "I need and want some more!"

Now seven days, "It's been a week?"
   "Your task's still on my list!"
As I run out the door and wonder,
   Just what else I've missed.

"It's been 4 weeks? That cannot be!"
   "Oh my, how time has flown!";
I look down at my little list,
   And sigh, for it has grown.

OK, one year has come and gone,
   "I KNOW 12 months have passed ... "
"But can't you wait a little more?"
   "One minute's all I ask!"

Hi Kit...
         I think you wrote this one about
       me, but I bet a lot of us are going
       to feel that way!!!
            EXCELLENT......I love it, even
       if it does remind me to go do the
       dishes that are sitting in my sink!!

               You are amazing!!!!!

I have but one goal in
life.........
To make you smile!

Kit~
LOL !
I'd say you found my list -
but I quit making lists ... cause I got tired of seeing
all the things I didn't get to YET !
I'm not absent-minded ... I'm just 'LIST'-less !

Now I just let others remind me !
One less thing I have to remember to do !

Loved this delightful read.
Glad I got around to it ! !

Oh, dear. I'm afraid this is not me. If you need something done, ask me. I'll have it for you in a few minutes. For real! But I know many procrastinators in my life.. I just smile and say "no problem"!

OK my thoughts on this poem....well can you wait until tomorrow...come one someone had to make the joke, even if it was far too obvious. Kit really enjoyed the poem.
