He Is Here

Of course God is here
take a look at our Earth
He resides in the Seasons
He is here during Birth

He is here in our darkness
and is feeling our pain
When we question and doubt
He is here just the same

God is present at Sunrise
and the end of each Day
and he hears our heart speak
when we've no words to say

God is here in our reaching
He is guiding our needs
He is weeping beside us
for our harrowing deeds

God believes in our courage
when we cannot endure
He leans in and pushes
His loving touch, pure

God is here in our Playtime
Compassion and Peace
He is here when our aging
forms shudder and cease

He is with us in Battle
when we act out of Hate
when we raise words in Anger
when our Burdens are great

I believe God is present
in each moment's embrace
in each breath we are given
flows our God's living Grace

Claire,

This is a wonderful poem and a perfection description of the God I love and serve.  God bless you, my friend

He certainly is, here ... and he's counting himself fortunate to be in the words and thoughts of so many talented writers like yourself
very nice Claire

Michael, Rex...thank you both. I was inspired to write this last night after reading another post asking "Where Is He?" I don't recall who posted it, but it was their questioning that caused me to feel, think and write, so they deserve the credit for propelling my words into verse.

Thank you both for reading.

Claire,

What a wonderful, refreshing poem this is. We don't think enough about how God sees everything we are and everything we do all the time. You have captured this beautifully.

Some do not look for Him ...
but He sees them just the same.

I appreciate your thoughts.

Excellent Meadowmuse....belief in a Grand Creator has been diminishing in the last tweny years or more. However, those with a heart realize that God exists because their heart allows them to feel his presence and witness the wonders of his creation....like it states in the Bible....

"Faith is the ASSURED expectation of things hoped for, the EVIDENT demonstration of realities though not beheld." (New English Bible)

example...we can feel the wind and the effects of it even though we can't see it.. we know electricity exists because of the results it produces but we can't see it.
The same thing applies with our realization that God is existing amoung us.

Just a spiritually deep wonderfully written piece of work Meadowmuse...

I feel him, I know he is here.....I am glad that others share in this feeling. Very beautifully written and full of spirit.

The writer you speak of, as I just came across it is BigPimpinSk8tr. I am glad you came across it as it inspired a wonderful poem.
