Time Stands Still

Time stands still, one's thoughts so pure.
No deeper love, awaits for thee.
To come and sweep, to lift up high,
One's love filled heart, now overflows.

Where art thou, one, of equal need?
For love, hath never want, so dear.
Time stands still, one's thoughts so pure.
No deeper love, awaits for thee.

What doest one view, through door, so wide?
Thy presence shines a light, again.
Thou sweeps and lifts towards heaven's bliss.
Two hearts, now share, the love doest flow.
Time stands still, one's thoughts so pure.
No deeper love, awaits for thee.

I am going to check out the site also, thank you. I'm always looking for different types of poetry, free verse, blank verse, this seemed to be a very natural one for you, even if you worked on it, it really flowed. I loved it.

Princess
and Kathleen..yes  that is just a teaching site with examples..they may do that here... I haven't investigated all the poetry  forums
on here yet...but I have spent a year on a much smaller site called Kaleidoscopes which you can  get from  checking the  one I  posted...a  small but friendly group whom I met  10 of in VA..this spring...for a poets weekend..
thank you both
