angel of the hills
open your arms to us
teach us your secrets
protect us from harm

heart of the south
share with us your love
give our hearts life
shine your bright light

speak to us here
who sing your words soft
take us to heaven
show us your home

I tried to look for the challenge Sven, but couldn't find which it might be?  From the lovely words you've penned here though ... I'm sure you've not only met the challenge, but exceeded it beautifully!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Methink you're speaking of one of the poetesses here at Passions...and if I am right, do I now have to name her?

Sven,

I like this one a lot.  Very nice images of the hills enfolding us and protecting us from harm.  Challenge well met my friend.

Very beautiful Sven!!  Once again you leave me speechless with your poetic voice.  For some reason my heart loves to hear words about angels from southern hills.
