Moments End In glance of whim to heightened cheek A spark or flash, I do not know But bright are eyes that see-of me Compelled to look again I must If time could slow to moments end And lengthen stare, to endless time A taste of this, in dare, I look again Of hope, to catch her glance of me The flash of green, from pearled skin Deep those eyes, Oh wish, I pray for me 'Tis I they seek, or dream I am in sleep But pain of pinch, awake I surely am Oh crest of lips, to shine in sweetened smile A skip of beat, falters heart, like breath I hold In stare I fall, for what of time I do not know Eternity, so long, as eyes do kiss at moments end.
