BE FREE AS THE WIND
How can it be for you to be free,
To live life to the highest degree?
Let me advise and recommend,
Find peace of mind, to be free as the wind.

The world stops spinning for no one,
Whether you be rich, poor or famous,
or even if you are no one’s friend.
But everyone wants to be free as the wind.

The world stops spinning for no one,
Whether you be old, blind or sickly,
or even if you’re a child of ten.
But everyone wants to be free as the wind.

The world stops spinning for no one,
Whether you be young, strong, and healthy,
or if you forget now and again.
But everyone wants to be free as the wind.

The world stops spinning for no one,
Whether you be good, moral, and righteous,
or if you are as evil as sin.
But everyone wants to be free as the wind.

So what do you really want to do?
And what do you really want to be?
Do you want to be rich and famous,
Or do you really just want to be free?

Melton, hi ~
I admire your message here as well as the way in which you "freely" share it! Wonderful, rhythmic verse.
