Loving Plea

Gather me in your arms, let your warmth flow
through my being.
No words needed, eyes closed and unseeing~
only feeling.

Hold my hand tight when I need the connection....
When life's troubles are too great and rejection
may be deciding my fate.

Listen avidly when I voice deepest fears
without prejudice. Nor scoffing at shed tears
when darkness descends, quaking at the thought
that light may not reappear.

Understand when I need solitude,
so deep in my thoughts and wish to exclude
all else around me, wanting nothing to intrude.

Walk by my side when days pass to next season
in content happiness. Laughing and teasing
like carefree children who don't need a reason.

I vow, without prodding or shove.
Together ~ let us fly gently as the dove ~
These, the ways I wish to be enveloped in Love.

Chansie - This is a very sweet poem of love in many of its facets.  You wrote it so well.

chansondegeste,

Welcome to Passions!!!  I don't think I had a chance to see your first posts, but I am glad I caught this one.  Very nice writing.  Sounds like a wonderful way to be loved!!
