A Swirl of Gauze

Unfolding fragrance, morning's hush
Ivory petals, mignonette's glow
I wake, emergent, damp to touch
and turn, gown's gauze a fluid flow

In golds and garnets, leaflings greet
through French door glass, veranda bathed
Eyes new from sleep's incessant sweet
with sudden stream of sun enswathed

And naught for lure of daylight's charm,
my head full fraught with dreaming's grace
A swirl of gauze, strong hands on arm
pulled 'round to sleep in your embrace

Terrific writing...

I often end up wondering how you do what you do so well... how do you always create such great poetic works... I will never know the how, but I like whatever you write...

Thanks for sharing your supreme art...

regards O Claire,
Sudhir

Claire...
Like Sudhir, I marvel at your way of choosing words that paint delicate pictures across the mind.....that, to me, is really poetic art, and you are a master at your craft.  I am serious.

Claire,

I am in awe of your gift, my friend.  To awake as I did this morning to find such loveliness at Passions has really started my day off in a most positive way.  This is pure art. I truly love it.

Sunny, your words are most generous and very touching, and I thank you sincerely for leaving them here for me to read. I'm so glad to know you've enjoyed this piece.

Michael, my friend...any time I can share something positive with you, you know it fills my heart to do so. Thank you, dear.

Exquisite Claire! These words just rolled through my mind magically as I read ... absolutely beautiful the way you utlize such flowing words to create the most incredible imagery. Lovely Claire!

Best wishes,

Heather, hi. Actually it was written in a wistful moment this morning. Your perception lies right with my own for this piece. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with me today.

Kit, thank you. Your response is so kind, and I appreciate it so. I just write what comes into my head.   (scary!)

LJA, morning spoons are lovely, are they not? Thank you for reading, dear.
