120 West Longitude, 37.50 North Latitude

Synchronizing longitude and latitude
By degrees, from zero in Greenwich
In the obliquity of the ecliptic
Cartographers depicted imprecisely
A geodesy of contours and land masses,
New hemispheres at last unveiled
Splattered with geographical folklore –
Neptune supporting the sphere,
Mythical islands circling the North Pole
Lakes moving from one place to another.

Measuring distances presently,
With dead-eyed accuracy
Mapping the topography
Most expediently
All points leading home.

Thanks, Park - you know it's more fun this way, makes it a bit more like a puzzle.  And it's left.

Thank you, Martie!

Whew! Talk about playing hard to get! Couldn't you just, like, give him your address?

The writing and word selection is excellent, Corinne.......

Ahh, yes, Balladeer, but where would be the fun in that???

Don't you like to be teased, just a bit?
