Dew Kissed Morn

The sun’s peeking over the eastern rim
giving clouds hanging mid heaven
a spoiled cotton candy appearance.

All of the land that my eyes can see is
heavily dew kissed giving a sparkle
to the very parched earth.

The air smells of nature freshly bathed
and cleansed of the long dusty season.

Refreshing tepid air flows slowly past
were I am sitting giving pleasant
thoughts of this dew kissed morn.

The winged creatures take a well earned
rest waiting for the sun to dry up heavens
tears for a long and harsh summer
it has been.

Confusing this untimely storm has been
giving heat thriving blossoms question
on weather to stand tall brightly adorned
or go in to hiding from all of the long
winter storms.

First storms of the season are welcomed
friends but as time passes soured
the thought of another day darkened
and gray, hoping the sun will
emerge for just one complete day.

But for the moment I shall marvel at the
sheer beauty of the dew kissed morn
that Mother Nature so graciously
has given me.

By, Cerenity

Cerenity---I absolutely loved this one and I used to love getting up early in the morn and go running in just the perfect morning you paint for us.  It was my treat to myself to run in all the beauty that lies within these times.  I wish I could still run as I used to but the morns are still there to enjoy.  Loved it so much I must thank you for sharing it.

Cerenity~
You romped the dew-kissed meadow of my mind with this one.

I love the early morning sun glistening off the dew drops ...
little prisms of sparkling light dance all over the lawn.

Thank you for this little beauty !
Love ya', my friend.

Hi Everyone,

The morning is such a treat, I almost think that God proubly did all his best work in the early morning hours, not that God did any bad work, but things like kittens like the one at my feet right now kicken up a storm in the morning or how about the birds have you ever noticed that they sing there loudest in the morning and I could go on but I think we all love morning and from were I sit on the top of a mountain my mornings are usely awesome no matter what kind of weather or mood, thank you all for your kind replys.

Lovew, Cerenity

Cerenity, You have just made my day with this piece of heaven, I could almost taste the dewdrops. This is an excellent portrait of how I feel when I step out into the early morning air.
Excellent
