This is acctually a song I wrote.. so thats why it dosn't sound a whole lot like a poem and why some parts reapeat them selves. It sounds a lot better set to music... but I had some inspiration to poast it as it  So here ya go and I hope you like it..God Knows God knows how I try To make our love work And God knows how I cried When I saw it falling apart Please tell me why it is That I must stay Please tell me what it is You always seem to say Cuz' God knows how I try And God know how I cried And God knows how I love you so And when I look at you I look at angels eyes But through the eyes Of every one else All they do is see me cry They tell me he's not worth my love Cuz' he just doesn't care And then maybe I believe them For a second or two And then I hear his voice And all that doubt I had in him Melts right down to my shoes So tell me why it is I always stay No matter what all they say to me I just can't walk away Just can't walk away And when I get mad I have all these things I plan on saying to you And when I hear your voice you see Those words leave me with the breeze They leave me like a breeze I stand there forgotten All I wanted to say And instead I say I love you And I'll tell you that I'll always stay Yeah, baby, I'll always stay They call me stubborn They call me dumb But that's okay I look in your eyes And I hear your lies So why can't I walk away No matter how much you hurt me No matter how I cry God knows how I try And maybe one day Maybe I'll know Why I just can't walk away Why I just can't walk away Cuz' God knows Why I just can't walk away........ ~*~Amy~*~ |

Oh gee...I hate to admit that I was there once...in my teen years...about ten years ago...its a tough place to be and it doesn't seem like there is much chance...but there is. Your song (poem) is very good, LiL, you really express your frustrationa t being so trusting well. Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and use the chance To return to innocence. -Enigma |
