              Little Red

She walked through gloom where giants should
In shadowed dancing leaves and wood.
Looking for exotic bloom
One to light and bright a room.

But in the gloom were watching eyes
Echo sounds and distant cries
Stirs the ghosts within her heart
Glues her feet each new impart.

She sings a pretty little song
To help her faltering along
Eyes the night with warning fright
Turns her steps twards home and flight.

To grandmothers house she heads
With flowers in a basket bed.
A race against the shadows wend
A race against the day light end.

She seeks an inner sanctum wall
A wall beyond all evils call.

Seymour~
What big eyes you have ! !

Once upon a time,
there was a poet with a rhyme.
He told the story, Oh so well ...
the big bad wolf no longer dwells !

You are just the best !
And I just love this !

Which sums up exactly the feeling I get when trying to leave the family room [in the basement] after a scary movie and I'm the only one down there and I've got to be the one responsible for turning out all the lights. Move Feet Move!

Oh Sy, love the fantastical fantasy of feelings...

Hey great poem, I've got a good idea - how about instead of running, turn around and blow that big old wolf over, that would be sweet ironic justice for you .
I never liked the original tale - you've improved it no end .
