Dry August, sunrays mixed with dust,
Fill up my glass... I wander lonely and I cast
My shadow to the scorching pavement--
Let it boil... I hunger for my own enslavement,--
A month ‘til school. I'm bored and tired,
I need to work! I feel exhausted and retired.
The world’s against me... I feel cursed
I’m staying up all night, composing verse...
My critics rave, “His poetry lack sense,
It has no purpose and no meaning... it is dense...
So full of texture but of text deprived...”--
I haven’t lived, -- what can I write of life?
