It's a Doggy Summer Day it's a doggy summer day made hay can play awhile softly smile it's a doggy summer full of old music old memories old muses it's a doggy day old music bringing great memories of youth it's a doggy youthy day here in old summer's afternoon melodic snapping tunes bringing back youthful thought ~ it would be later than soon that I would be old… and perhaps on that day when you "could'a been a flower the way you stole my heart" and "been anything you wanted to" and takes you back to the then of then to an earlier doggy day… ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 20 August 2000 |
