Dead of night, Eyes beaded bright, They stalk a shaddowed prey. Sure of foot, Black as soot, Proudly they wend their way. Prancing and tumbling, Springing and jumping, Catching at rays of light. Twitching, growling, Purring, meowling, My cats come into sight. Claws put away At the end of the day, They curl up at the foot of my bed; And with one alert eye, They let time pass them by, Making dreams in their tired little heads. |

Now you mentioned some great cats here, but I think it's not cool that my cat can't fit this description  LOL Yes I have a rather fat and lazy cat. Sometimes I think he is a dog by the way he behaves. LOL I enjoyed this poem a lot, I liked the format, the easy read that you have provided, and the descripitions were great...WELCOME TO PASSIONS .
