They're like a fever....

Now this is a beautifully written haiku! How beautiful and hopeful it is when the dawning of a new day, a new beginning comes.  I agree with you, it is like a fever, once you start writing haikus and senryus it's hard to stop.  And please don't stop, I love your haikus!

Take care,
Melissa Honeybee

Beautiful imagery, Becky.  Truly, you have captured the spirit of the Haiku.

Here's one dedicated to you about my current state of affairs...or, rather, state.

Shimmer

The air became sea
Heat shimmering waves glimmer
Across concrete shores

Dovey - Light filtered through trees - Man!  does that bring forth memories and images!!!  Perfectly opened!  But, I do have one question for ya - OK?

Are there any kitties trapped in those trees?  *hopeful eyes*
