the after glow
of a winters day
that shines through
a tapestry of curtains,
colliding with the warmth
that two make beneath
a world of blankets,
sweat and sheets,
their world may seem small
but infinate to them
for a look into
eyes that prelude life,
could only this
be their fortress
for love can deal
its own special blow,
so quiet and rest
let this winters day go
fear nothing outside
your world of souls,
comfort is given
and indeed shared
and this winters day
shall have no end.

I think I just got a whole new outlook on winter. You know it gets very cold here in Toronto.....not like in Cali!!!!! LOL
