Talking My Heart...Easing fears

A Love Note...#5

Remembering, while silence reigns
when first, we two, as strangers met.
My eyes they teared, in want of you,
my palms they cried in nervous sweat.

Anxieties, we met head on,
when softened lips, eased onto mine.
The fears then left, we pressed, the more,
forever, now our lives entwine.

In me, you have my heart and soul.
In you, I have, the "all" I need.
These notes I've scribed on screen of blue,
caress us each, with words to feed.

If and when, the time will come
that passions' ink won't hold it's weight,
if purity of heart is lost,
our fears won't rise, it's ease, our fate.

Once again you have met the challenge to receive your gold...you have brought to us 5 letters of love and shared your 1000th plus 1 with us and I for one am thankful.  Your poems during this challenge have been superb and I commend you on your fine efforts.  They were noticed and appreciated.

Mark ...that was so enticing...that I never went to bed last night and wrote all the  challenge poems...I was in that kind of mood and you know..better to express while it's in you and ready to flow...
thank you for the fun of that and I think they are 5 of some of the most touching and meaningful words I have written in a long  while as they are meant to be from my heart to someone and  the poets ink meant to representative all of us poets...
~~soft hugs
Maureen
