The Madness
------------------

Again she smiles at my pass
I feel a grip upon my soul
She weakens my defense
I want the sin of her touch
The madness always comes ...

I'd sell my soul for just one night
She holds a magic within her eyes
I desire the sweetness of her lips
Again she smiles
The madness always ...

I cut my hand to seal the pledge
Her kiss is energy all its own
I'm weak to the power of her love
Again she smiles
The madness ...

I see the truth within her soul
Her grip is tight upon my heart
I know the meaning of her spell
Again she smiles,
the she devil
Ooh the madness ....

Ooh, good one, James!  Glad to see you conjured up some spirits again!

Such a wonderful kind of drowing madness, is it not?

A very sensual poem, I must say! I think I'll have to read this on again.  "She devil," eh?  Wow!

Thanks Doc, I think you right

Corinne, Yes she was a devil, thing about them devils they seem to be able to change their form. Turn your back they'll sneak up on you as a little elf, or an Irish nymph...
just never know.

Thanks devina, just want to keep your heart pumping.

Parker, oops, I meant to post the response I wrote on Puppeteer, here!

The Irish nymph comment, I mean. And, this poem passed too fast, in my opinion.

Soooo, back up to the top you go!

I love how you keep ending lines with "The Madness!" It gives a very sensual, and creepy, energy to the piece -- which I'm sure is just what you wanted, anyway.

I've had my eye on this title and finally had a chance to read it, and so glad it did not get away. It surpassed my expectations.
So does the madness

Parker~

The madness grips me,
holds me in it's spell.
I think I know
this madness well.

Nice job.

James,

If this is madness, I'll take insanity any day!

And so the wild moors call upon us,
whispering winds of an emerald isle
"Who can dance among you?" it asks
"We dance the dance of lovers," we cry.

And we cry.

Ah Marge, your mad to, its going around.

Corinne, me thinks you've got that Irish madness.... a very sweet madness it is.

And hearts will dance the shores
of a Irish sea
When the ancient Celtic songs
did play
and run and play in the meadows
green
Where hearts did meet in better
days...

What a madness
and what a piece of poetry
Wow

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
