                     A
                     note
                     so purely
                     whimsical ~
                     breathes lightly
                     in-
                     to
                     my
                     ear
                     to
                     tell
                     of
      springtime's
    coming to this
  heart ~ winter's
  cold presence is
    welcomed to
     disappear.

When spring has sprung
and the grass has riss
and the rain cleans stains away
A gentle breeze
moves through the trees
and sweet fragrance fills the day
~
The winters' chill
melts from my heart
its' beat starts getting stronger
It strikes a tune
from inside my soul
I couldn't hide there any longer

I like spring

Your heart must be singing, hence the musical note.
Well said!

Yep, you two...
This is the product of a very
"happy-to-sense-springtime"
soul today!

Rex~ what a lovely poetic reply!

I think this southern, sunny weather
is going to be a wonderful inspiration
to a "starting over new" me!

spring is my favourite season
all the colours are one reason
everything blooms and is on show
the smells astound as the flowers grow
the weather changes and starts to warm
round the flowers bee's do swarm
baby animals growing and bounding about
"it's springtime my favourite"
I want to shout

Marge~
I had a feeling you might like this one.
Again, I'll tell you...you inspired me greatly
with your many artistic posts.
I think it's so very cool (& chanllenging)
to post poetry with such a display.
Thank you for showing me a new way to play with words!

Tracie~
WHAT A GREAT POETIC REPLY!
I don't think there are many in here
who won't join us in a chorus to
celebrate spring's arrival.

Whiskey~
Thank you for your kind words!
Counting you in on this 'recording" too!
