(A friend sent me a CD of Lorenza Ponce and I wrote this while listening to her music)

Places that no one ever Touched

If only I could breathe deep enough
to absorb all this sound
that scratches my ears persisting
I open for assimilation
then floats on wings above me
allusive and yet sure

Tap-taping still against this heart
a sound like time itself
backing angel heat
that has no flame
is cold yet warm
and then you can almost feel the wind
in the heavens zapping around mountain angles
and the soft tinkle and harmony follows
as sure of direction as this minute

It is the sound of life
where humanity dances and looses
itself in the rhapsody
of movement and swaying
and the voice is the instrument
the instrument the voice
playing upon each other like lovers

I want to dance this joy
my feet in perfect points
my hands like butterflies
and think this song comes from
my heart and pleases
all the small and lonely
with listening

I feel this lover’s caress
on skin that is slipping
into rhythm as sensual as a sigh
and if I close my eyes I can be magic
and this invisible partner
will tell me secrets
and will show me places
that no one ever touched

Very nice!  I also like to write while listening to music.  Sets the mood if you know what I mean.
Always enjoy reading your poetry!

Well Deary

Would you just lie back here on my couch, relax and tell me all about these magical invisible partners. How long have you been like this..? LOL!!!! I like verry much. Sometimes though... I wonder how close I should let another get close to those places.

Much Love from both of us.

The first two lines said it all for me--it's
so hard to describe the sensation of music--
but you did.

Martie~
I feel the music
coursing through this rendering.
Superbly done.

All I need to say is: Do you mind if I print this work of art my friend?

Truly beautiful..it is indeed hard to describe the sensation, the emotion music brings forth.  You've done a superb job.  This definitely makes me want to hear this music!
