          Wine and roses

Sitting quiet, plucking whimsy,
From a daisy soft and flimsy,
Watching sparrowing shadows spew,
My mind did conjure up a coup.

I would send an invitation.
Full of dares imagination.
A moonlit tete-a-tete for two.
With roses and champagne of brew.

Surrounding a small pagoda.
One fumed with exotic odor.
An aggregate, an omnibus.
Were we would be alone, just us.

And I would shape the world anew.
Whispered in a mellow coo.
Touch you with raptures traces,
Hold you in my strong embraces.

And we would ship on Noahs Ark,
To Edenville, then disembark.

"And I would shape the world anew."
"Hold you in my strong embraces."

Then a trip to Edenville, what more could a person want in this world? I like the poem, but this ending is my favorite, because it's not and ending. It's a promise of a new begining. I like this idea. < !signature-->

So when is it that I can expect my invitation?
You make it sound like such a pleasant date!
Love the soothing flow of this one.

Sy,
A sensual poem , every part
From tete a tete to disembark
Your words have touched an acute sensation
Surpassing all imagination
Love ya,
Liz

Just too beautiful Sy.

One of the ones which produces a sound very much like the sound of your name!

Lovely Sy, this date you've planned
if you want music, I'll be the band.
As far as the ark I have to say
I'd rather play beside the bay.

Great poem Sy!

Elizabeth, Your comments are more beautiful than my poems. Love Sy

Severn, You are sweet, thank you and *L*

Balladeer, I was thinking more along the lines of a pagoda for two. Thanks

Martie, Love your comments, they almost always give me a chuckle. *L*

You've managed to flutter this heart yet again Sy...this was quite the secluded story of romance!!!!
