Where am I? Every night I’m awakened In a place so strange. The reality is similar But still not the same. People, places, and faces rearranged. Sometimes I see life through A deranged persons eyes. No one knows I’m there. It’s as if I’m disguised. Sometimes I watch from above. I seem to float or fly. Sometimes I cry, And cant figure out why. I know these worlds Are not of my mind. They exist in a different Space place and time. Usually these worlds Are filled with strange creatures. Sometimes the people Have distinctly odd features. I often wonder what is the name Of the planet I’m on, Or the galaxy I’m in. Pleasure is intensified Pain is repressed. Sometimes our evolution is heightened, And more often regressed. Someday the intricacies of our soul Will be believed. But right now as a whole We are quite naive. When we dream of our own world Instead of one altogether new. We have an experience Which we call deja vu. Sometimes we are not quite ourselves it may seem. Maybe we are suffering From someone else’s dream. No matter how horrifying Or how serene. I am grateful for the experiences I have when I dream. |

I'm thankful for SOME of my dreams...LOL You really laid out some indepth perspectives here - - very intriguing...Thanks for sharing your dreams with us. ** I'm reaching for the brightest star I've ever seen - knock my ladder out from under me, and you'll wish you hadn't !! -pFF ** Here's to 2000! |

This was a nice poem, often I wonder where am I?, also. Are our dreams real, what about the things that we see when our eyes closed, is it real!!! |

LOL PFF. and Your welcome My dreams are your dreams. Some people might think I am a little crazy Mystery but yes I do think our dreams are real. If the Universe is infinate than I think the possibilities are also. And yes I also think visions are real. We are so young and we have much to learn. I think if we can forget what certain parties have been feeding us for years we will be off to a good start. We have to open our minds and stop beliveing everything we are told. I am struggleing with changing my thought processes every day. don't think I am just self rightously preaching over here. Thanks for the replys and forgive my spelling It is horrid |
