True North

I am wishing my truth north "alive"
My pain is so real I sometimes thrive
My brain says peace and my heart is now quiet
Should I feel this way for which I know is right.
As I lay here and think of my past
I sometimes wonder will this last
My heart is dying, crying for more
But my body, mind and soul is torn
I feel I am sinking, clawing for natural ground
My only wish is, Is this  my true north I have found
My wish has failed, my heart broken once again
I cry to the clouds, Dear God, have I sinned?
My soul is now dead, release me from my pain
Someone hear my cries, for I am broken once again
Rip my heart out, and give me a new
For once I am born, I promise to cherish you
My soul is cleansed, my heart is now alive
My pain has ceased, for now my tears are gone.
I am back on my journey of what I thought I found.
No longer sinking or clawing for natural ground.

This is a great poem. Very inspiring, it makes one think of their own "true north".
I look forward to more!!
