state of confusion

A voice sooths my senses
it reaches deep inside,
I hear the words but it’s the song
that quenches this Saharan tide.

Like an undercurrent
of the ocean’s roar,
some mystical lure,
alluding to much more.

When we’re face to face
some distant memories,
of another space and age,
are what my mind sees.

In that touch of hand
some familiar gesture,
sends my spirit to soar,
my heart to enrapture.

Now I know what is meant
by songs of deja vu
all becomes clear,
in these images of you.

Thank you, Denise, you are always so kind!

Parker, you speak in prose and poetry, in riddles and in rhymes, somehow these words speak to me, visions of northern climes.

I see you have a gentle heart
Your poetry has a very special art
reflections of your face
words wraped around with grace
Very nice poem

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
