      Lovers vaudeville

The curtain opens on a time.
The hour glass bows in prime
And spotted in a flood of light,
Forever, in a heart as bright.

A setting of a special kind,
The backdrop of a highlight mind.
Forever will this portrait be,
The sole editor and trustee.

It is the way of lovers star,
It is the way that lovers are.
It is the unction of lovers think.
For love is the pen and the ink.

A moment of pure confection,
A moment of pure perfection.
The high point of a spirits climb.
Anointment and arrest of time.

The face of beauties overkill.
Frozen in this vaudeville.

I would not know how to top the replies
And then again why should I
Your poem has left me singing
Very impressed here

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
