Why me?

A boy was born in a family,
raised as an adult,
rather than a child,
One day when he woke up,
he asked his friend why me?,
they just stood their lost with no answers,
The boy asked god, Why me?
even god was lost with no answer,
he asked god why was he cursed when he was suppose to be blessed,
He heard no answer, saw no sign,
The little boy wanted to get away,
He wanted to sleep,
sleep forever, to never wake again,
away from all the pain and worries that haunted him night and day,
He asked himself the same question everyday,
What could I have done so wrong?
that puts me through so much pain,
As the boy laid in the bed,
turning the lights out, closing his eyes,
he kept on asking Why me, Why me, Why me.

Aw, so touching. -- I don't know the
answer either, why one child gets to play
and play and nary a care and others, are
worked to the bone --

But, all is not lost -- I started playing
when I was 32 -- It was my turn.
For in each of us a child lurks. Open
that inner child and find him.
