Tell me again grandma
tell me again
the story

Dear oh Dear
it is said that we
are here for a very
short time
a very short
time

While we are here
we are suppose
to hear the calling
inside and not to fear
fear

No!
Grandma
tell me again about the dent.

Dear oh dear
it is true
that when you came out you had no such dent
until
God gently put his finger up
to your lips and said "shhhhh".

My Grandmother was my best friend in life.
She has moved on now to a better place and this reminded me of her and her stories of life.
You`ve done a great job with this one Chris.
Thank you for sharing and know that no matter where our Grandparents might be,they will always be in our heart`s and memories.

Again THANK`S

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Wizzard,
Hi I hope you are having a great day!  I have been by my fire and sipping hot tea all day long.  I have been thinking of my grand mother alot lately.  She has fallen ill & I am about 100 miles from her.  I just pray she won't go, not yet.

Chris,
the last time I saw my Grandmother she was in the hospital.
I had left her side after being told by her nurse that my Grandmother would be going home the next day.
I had planned to go see her the next day,but I got a phone call before i could, telling me that she has passed on.
The point Im trying to make is this.
If she is only 100 miles away and not doing well, mabey you would feel better if you went and seen her?
I wish I had stayed.
I dont mean to bring you down in any way but if your missing her and you have a way,you should go see her.
My prayers will be with you and your Grandmother

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

I lost both my Grandmothers in the same year
90 and 87 ... they both were very special ... as only Grandmothers can be ... I could sit and listen to them for hours ... telling of their youths and experiences ... you should try to see her if you can ... you will both bennefit from a visit

Everyone has someone who holds a special place in their hearts.  Very nice poem.
