The horizon embraced a lone tinge of midnight blue
Suspended in my lungs the last breath I held for you
You came to me in vision when the heat was all too much
I missed your very presence until I lost your touch

Now my heart hangs heavy-laden in the western sky
My sight is never ending the many passers by
None wear the rose in their hair plucked as my love has been
Placed in the midnight sky to inspire poetic men

No one looks except a few who hold their pad and pen
No one dares or even cares to see the heart of men
So how will I a cursed wretch find you in the throng
Will you be the one, rose in hair, singing lover’s song

This is so true, people neglect the hearts of men and expect them to be "manly" and hide thier feelings and keep a straght face all the time and speak in low boring tones of foolish striving for masculine perfection.

I saw a poetic masterpiece
written by a man named Walt
the ink flowed from his pen
as the words danced around
and formed a waltz of a poem

Excellent job Walt, I love it.

I am not afraid to read it--and I found it to be pretty good!

They usually find you when you stop looking for them I think, Walt.  Even then, they're a bear to hold on to.  This was beautiful, Walt.

Personally -  I love your P.M.S.stuff too, though ...LOL
