It hurts you because you think it's love
But I know you know you've had enough

Enough of his lies and the pain
Your heart can no longer take the strain

Lay that beast to rest I say
And live to love another day

One day your true love will appear
And in your heart be forever dear

Good advice, sweetie.

This is short and sweet! but sad, I know the feeling...when it isn't love!

 "Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O,no! it is an ever-fixed mark....William Shakespeare

Dear all
These words were written for Shunshine in teen poetry, she has been having a rough time for a little while now and I've been looking after her you might say.
Some of this may seem a little harsh but I know the progress for which she has been transending through. I thought that now was an appropriate time to say "Hey sweetie you need to try to move on" I know it's terribly hard especially for a teenager to try to push through a one way romance and I hope she does.
LoL tracie
Thanks for your reply's

Your poem was great! Sometimes we over look the love of a teen, as being not real. In truth Love at any age is always painfull it is but a lesson in life each must learn.

M.T & James
Thanks for your replies
I'm greatful to have her as a friend, we have become great e-mail buddies and it's great.
I must take this chance to say though that she e-mailed me today and say's that she doesn't bother posting her poetry much now because noone replies, maybe a few more of us can visit the teen poetry forum.
