The tranquil sounds of the ocean,
as they lap against the shore
Releasing the pent up storm
Of this raging, inner mind war

Stare at the gentle horizion
And colors of great design
Sky intertwines with ocean
The waters just sparkle and shine

To walk along sands of the beach
Footprints are leaving behind
Bad memories washed away
And soothing this subconscious mind

At last I've found comfort and peace
Along the colorful shore
Surrounded by all beauty
Serenity's peace evermore

Thank you for this lovely walk along the beach ... I play in the sand and the surf of your imagination.

There's nothing like the sounds of the ocean and the feel of warm sand beneath your feet to bring peace and tranquility to the soul. It's wonderful to see you post, dovey!!!

I've been on a beach at the Ocean a couple times and can remember their beauty ...
I guess I'm kind of lucky because I'm surounded buy the Great Lakes where there are several beaches within an hours drive ... I love to walk on the beach at the waters' edge and feel the sand and water swirl around my feet ... finding shells and driftwood ... the sounds ... the air ...
... can't wait ...
thankyou WhtDove for the breath of summer
I also like to stop for fries with lots of salt and vinegar

Thank you sweet Pepper! That's awfully nice of you

Wish I had an ocean nearby Balladeer. Wish I could post more often. Thank you!

Rex, lucky you are. And send some of those fries too! YUM! Though never had vinegar on them...hmmn...thanks!

Denise, seeing as how we both have been uninspired lately, this came about after talking with you, knowing you were going to the ocean. My thoughts will be there with you, and I hope you have an Awesome time!

"Bad memories washed away..."  This is breathtaking, and I wish I could say something more original, as you've received some wonderful reviews on this!  I just love the ocean because it is so tranquil...takes you away from it all, in a way...somehow.  Thanks for sharing...pFF

Rebecca, thanks for the walk on the beach. It was refreshing and wonderful to feel the salted breeze after the storm and watch bad memories just wash away.
