It's my daughter's birthday
she's now 11 years old
And of course she often
doesn't do as she's told

But still she's my sweet darling
growing up in leaps and bounds
No longer within my grip
wrapped up safe n sound

She tells me she love's me
and I tell her the same
Through every tick of the clock
that love will remain

So happy birthday my little one
I give a big hug to you
And all my love and kisses
are always given too

Love ya mumma
