Winds; Changeable

I have seen for some time now
on the horizon of my mind
clouds on an air mass
that I have not breathed before
nor touched intimately in that
I am more than a cloudwatcher
for I understand
that everyone who looks
upon a cloud owns it
and these coming are mine,
to me they belong
in that the interpretation
springs from
imaginations deeper than
wishes could ever dream of
or this ship's Captain
would willingly sail to.
So they come not from me
but to me
in preparation
of the new horizon
on the sea of my mind
that has yet to be explored.
They tell me…
I am the adventurer.
do not fear.

RobertB-
Your brilliance shines in this piece.

'everyone who looks
upon a cloud owns it'

'the interpretation
springs from
imaginations deeper than
wishes could ever dream of'

What insight you've opened in me.
Well done, my friend.

Excellent words, Robert. It's good to live in anticipation of new adventures on the horizon....I've forgotten what that feels like

This is exquisite!

I agree with marge..."everyone who looks upon a cloud...owns it"..my favorite line...but all are beautifully written...

I am floating... )

Wonderful thoughts, so beautifully expressed.
There's something about clouds that make you dream.

Love those days when ya can kick back and stare at the clouds. This was truly wonderful Robert!  So serene a picture you've painted in my mind!

Which way is right for you,
Stop and softly ask yourself,
What Would Jesus Do?

Robert,
I liked the sense of freedom in imagination you've conveyed here. Wonderfully written!
