I've read all the warnings, I've not posted much response, I honestly have 3 kids and little time, but here goes..I'm not even sure this is in the right place, but it should be at least...different

Looking back it must have been a thursday of that week,
I came upon the strangest site,t'was an aquatic sheep!

Said he "My name is Darius, I live beside this beach, the days I spend up on the land,
by night I'm in the deep.

My eyes were wide my mouth agape
just speaking  was a task
Questions running through my mind,
but afraid, was I , to ask.

"Do not be shy!" the sheep assured
So out the questions came,
of gills and fins and wooly coats,
oh yes, and mating games!

I asked about his politics,
his mama and his pop,
brothers, sisters,family pets,
I never thought to stop!

I got my books and pencils out
prepared to write of him,
I turned, just then, and realized that
the bugger dove back in!

Which way is right for you,
Stop and softly ask yourself,
What Would Jesus Do?

Welcome Adriahh! You know, for a first posting, this isn't Baa~a~a~a~a~d! (Ick, but the joke was, huh? Sorry!  )

Actually, this was a most delightful and whimsical piece, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Thanks!

Welcome to passions
A nice piece, and funny to. So you have your three little ones in stitches at all times.
Well done with little time.

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

thanks
And I got the postcard, that's really a neat little bonus this site has
I'm actually trying to be an artist, poetry scares me, I don't like anything too serious.

Oh freaky little porcupine,
come eat the hedgehog in my mind.

Wonderful poem to enter our family with!  Welcome!

Claire, yes, that was baa-aaa-aaad LMAO

 Did Jesus laugh?
I think He did,
'cause He was once
a little kid;
and all of us
were made with joy
both sugar-spice girl
and snake-snail boy!
