Hero's Tale

The definition of a hero,
or of corse a heroine,
is someone brave,
meticulous,
with will of strong,
and youth of face .
Of course we've all heard songs of these,
the stories long and twisted,
but in the end,
all is well and good,
happyness prevails .
What is true,
but never told,
is of all the other heros,
the ones just like you and me,
who fight,
and fall,
and fail .
These my friend are real lords,
the world owes them some songs,
for ones of new and ones of old,
i show my humble gratitude .
If you find it difficult,
and if life's an up-hill struggle,
then you to,
my friend,
and fight,
even just a little .
God made all men equal,
No ?
About as equal as waves,
some rise up above the rest,
and others are branded naves,
so if you get an easy ride,
a hero you are not,
we all must fight an honest life,
and listen not to crooks,
who talk of men of steel,
with hearts of shining gold,
cause these my friend had easy rides,
now that they can't appeal,
they are woken and disturbed,
by tales and by songs,
i am glad i'm not a hero,
just strong,
and brave my song .
Meticulous and youth of face,
i just hope that there is a way,
that we can all hold on .

Excellent and honest, as always. You have an admirable stlye and eloquence. How does it feel to be a hero?

we are the true heros 'eh bake , well you keep fighting because one day , all knaves turn into knights .

Thanks to you both, some of us are more heroic than others, only don't know it, I am still waiting to see some more of your wonderful poetry . And if knaves turn into Knights, then if all is equal and all knights fight true, then the people that put in the most effort must some day become kings .
