But You Don’t Know Me

My dreams at night
Wishing to feel you
Longing to hold you tight

Your kiss I crave to taste
Could you ever love me?
Or am I forever replaced

My truth never spoken
You with another
My heart always broken

I’m just a friend
Nothing more
All I’ve ever been

I love you silently
Deep inside me
Can’t you see!
But you don’t know me….

Mariana, this is a very nice poem.  I like the brevity of your style and the emotion.

Yes, it is. . .I have to agree with Denise on this one. . .it's so hard to love someone and have them not even acknowledge your existence. . .

Beautiful words Marina. . . you always manage to say a lot with a little. . .

I hear the echo of my own cries when I read this one, Marina... You've painted the pain beautifully... well done!

Loving in the Dark.  It's a hard place to be in.  Step up and make him know you, Marina.
You have nothing to lose.

Thank you Micheal for that good advice.  Maybe I should make myself known.

Marina- I've had this happen once too often...and I might have lost out on a great love...TELL HIM!!!! They say sometimes friends make the best lovers sweetie, so go for it!!! If he backs out then he doesn't deserve you anyway!!!

devina you are right..sometimes friends do make the best lovers. If you cross the line however it can cause a lot of damage if both people don't feel the same.

So Sven when are you coming to Toronto?
