Let Down
~First Knight~

My heart can not bear, of not being there.
Just sitting by your side.
It rings so true, the words I miss you,
Just hoping you've not lied..
You said it was right, only just last night,
my feelings in such despair.
Tears in my eyes, feelings oh that rise,
and it just does not seem fair.
What can I do? I don't have a clue,
of how your feeling inside.
I'm lost in space, an utter disgrace,
now with feelings that I've died.

Excellent poem First_Knight. The image of you sitting alone wanting her is incredibly vivid. Might I ask exactly what prompted this poem, if it is not too personal?

The poem is about meeting someone who you love.  You know when you want to see them each day.  And one day they don't show up and your are not sure if it was something you said...or failed to say.  It's that sitting there wondering....that loss.  Being alone,  Crying.

Ok, thanks   I wasnt sure and didn't want to  jump to any wild conclusions. The poem makes more sense (to me at least) now that I know to what you were referring

Ahh my friends always jump to conclusions too fast. They always seem to think that they have been put aside or they have done something wrong. How do you know she didn't have server problems or the chat program failed to log her on or she was called away to work or an emergency. I know that my server was down the other night, that could have been her problem as well. You never know these things. Why suffer such pain when you do not have the answers? (Just my thoughts... )

First knight I think you're down but not out.

A little patience would give her heart
some time to discover,
does she love you
or is she longing for another.
And your heart could use a little time too
and give this romance a chance to come to you.  (laugh)

A very enjoyable poem,   James

David,
It wasn't that she didn't want to be here, but rather that she wasn't online at all last night due to the fact she slept only about 1 1/2 hours all day and was sick. But....you could have e-mailed her, I'm sure she would have appreciated hearing from you one way or another. This makes me rather sad, because it seems it's okay for you to lose contact for days at a time and her, only one night We must not jump to conclusions, it hasn't served either of us well in the past

A sweet poem, but I think she's just trying to catch up on sleep after she's been on-line chatting to you constantly! Either that or she's catching up with her girlfriends (and we all know how many questions they ask!!) Fingers crossed, you'll be okay!

Im just not going to touch this one with a 10 foot pole LoL

 Did Jesus laugh?
I think He did,
'cause He was once
a little kid;
and all of us
were made with joy
both sugar-spice girl
and snake-snail boy!
