Thank you for the time you spent
Thank you for the love you sent
Thank you for showing me what was true
And thank you especially for being you

This is simple..yet elegant nonetheless. Those two word "Thank You" may sound like nothing much of all..but they can truly change someone's life. Very good poem. I really enjoyed it!

I like the "sound" of this verse. Saying it aloud sounds musical...is it part of a song? A simplistic theme, "thank you" can mean so much and so many different things to us.

And a "THANK YOU" goes out to all of you. I've thought many times of extending this but haven't been able to come up with the words. I wrote this for somebody who was very special to me at the time a while ago and felt like it said everything that I wanted it to say. Who knows, maybe one day I'll add to it. Thanks again.
