Let me kiss you behind your ear
Whisper words only you can hear
Of how I tremble knowing you’re near
Let me kiss you, my love.

Let me see your eyes as you look at me
Show me desire and don’t hide your need
And I will answer your silent plea
Let me see you, my love.

Let me touch you on your sweet chest
Nuzzle a place for my head to rest
Give your pulse rate a bit of stress
Let me touch you, my love.

Let me smell your heated skin
I’ll savor your scent and we can pretend
That this dance we’ve begun will never end
Let me smell you, my love.

Let me taste you, I’ll beg for more
I want to absorb you through every pore
And take you into my very core
Let me taste you, my love.

Let me hear your soft moans of delight
As we love each other through the long night
To collapse, exhausted, at dawn’s first light
Let me hear you, my love.

Let me love you through all my days
I promise I’ll please you in so many ways
My dearest wishes this request conveys
Let me love you, my love.

Thank you, dear ladies! *S*

And Lovey... I've seen pictures of your legs and see mine every day and I'm older than you... I wouldn't even THINK about making any such comments!! *G*

Well, well, well... My dear Lady Suthern I must say I'm feeling rather flush.  Very sensual… very physical… the poetic equivalent of a banana split with chocolate syrup, whip cream, nuts, sprinkled candies and a cherry topper.  Quite edible and very delicious!

Andrew: All that??? *G* I'm impressed! Thank you!

And Toe: Blonde or not, I'm smart enough to recognize near perfection (there is that patience thang! LOL) Thanks, sweetie... to even be mentioned in the same post as LJA and Balladeer is an honor. *G*

Yep! All that, and more! If ya didn't notice from the icon... I reached such a degree as to melt all away. And now I'm just a big gooey mess on the floor. (And with that said, here comes the pitch right over the plate.... )

Belle

*Perk*  You've seen Lovey's legs???  In peekshures????  I wanna see!  I wanna see!!!

Incidently, this poem was truly beautiful, and so well thought out.  This was easily as moving as your poem about your Dad and Mom, which I will never forget.  You are such an incredible lady!

Toe - She's got my heart and brains now???  I thought she said you had them!!  I really AM confused now.  I hate it when my heart and brains get passed around like this.  I want them back!  *tapping toe impatiently*

psst, Belle - yanno, speaking of peekshures, when are you gonna include yours with your wonderful poetry?  I think all of the PiP-ers in here oughta DEMAND a peekshure of Belle!

Elizabeth: Thank you very much!

Andrew: A perfect setup... I can hear the crack of the bat and see the ball sailing far over left field for a sure home run... but to take that swing... nope, nope, nope. *G* I'll behave... sorta. *G*

LJA: You'll have to ask the lady. *G* As for your heart and brains... You STAY confused! LOL I sure don't have them... unless you're blonde? LOL. Guess you lost them completely (if indeed they were actually yours? *G*) Thanks, sailor...

M'Lady... I expected no less from one such as yourself.  It's those unsavory types whom shall remain unmentioned that I have concern for.

Yeah!  Me too, Andrew.  Those rascally scalawags are definitely unsavory.  I agree with you... (err, ahh, you weren't talking about ME, were you????)

Ah me good man LJ... never you fret me'hardy... for I'll not speak ill of the likes of you, but more the shade of the three-legged bilge rat who dines on the refuse of poetic dregs.  Me thinks you know the scalawag of whom I refer (wink, wink).

Well what shall I say...blushing?
I'm not sure if I should read such poetry (lol)
I might get addicted
Nice poem, so light but yet so deep
I'm sure to miss such love must make someone weep
The lines add up to ecstasy
Well written shall I say to thee.

Suthern, what a great piece of work this is....and you are. That cool, calm exterior on the outside and a steamy swamp of sensuality on the inside!! Whew! You are way too good for Toe....but, if you insist of writing this kind of poem for him, at least name it "Ode to a Toe'd".

Great writing, girl!
