The wedding ring you gave to me
So many moons ago
Is broken now, as is the vow
Leaves nothing to follow

To mend the heart is so obscure
As is to fix a dream
But moving on and being strong-
Not easy as it seems

This substance you have left with me
Poisons my aching core
My hate for you, still brand new
Killing love that was before

Hi, Sherry. How's that line go: "Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought". Then, sometime when you least expect it, something absolutely wonderful will happen. Meantime, keep turning that sadness into sweet thoughts.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood ...
