It always takes two for a rendezvous
That will sustain a lifetime through.

It always takes two for a tĂȘte a tĂȘte
To last forever once you've met.

It always takes two, an addend to sum
To live as one all days to come.

It always takes two for a complement ~
A perfect balance never spent

It always takes two for a tandem ride
Life's obstacles met side by side

It always takes two to say, "Yes, I Do
Forever want to be with You"

This was a great challenge - Anyone else out there have theirs?????

Yep, great challenge alright and you did a fabulous job with it! Great to read this one again, that's for sure!  A timely message.... and I agree, should be hung on every married person's wall... think I'll print it out and hang it on mine. Y'think that might help?

It takes two or God would have left it at one.  The best part is if you can find your missing rib and then you can really be complete.  Here is to you and your special fellow out there on this New Year's Night.  I hope you will be together one way or another.  Thanks again for the little angel you  sent to me.  She was so--- precious.

As long as it doesn't have to be in iambic pentameter, I'm in.
This is a lovely poem, Nan

It was a great challenge - very interesting to look back on perceptions of not so long ago.  My oh my, how things change...

Too True Nancy!
A Happy New Year to you.
BTW I just read your Christmas poem and I loved it. ( I did not have my ICQ turned on, forgot about it til I thought it was kinda strange not to hear from my friends.) That will teach me!

What a great Valentine poem this would make!

This would definitely be a good Valentine poem!  Beautiful work, Nan!
