If I must weep
let me cry
in the tongue of angels
so that bitterness
be made beauty--
agony to harmony, within--
a choir of seraphim...
so that any who will hear
have ears only for the jubilee
of "holy, holy, holy..."

May it echo
in resounding hum
quivering first
in sweet refrain
building note upon exquisite note--
sustain--
and burst in exaltation.

A psalm to sing,
to touch,
to heal...

Let us dance in glory
as it is meant to be.

Welcome serenity
I'd join your choir
but for two things ... I sound like a
cracked bell and I'm afraid of heights
An excellent first post

I'm glad that late took the time to brush off the pixie dust and bring this back to the fore...

it's timeless.

I wrote this one in High School--but I've been re-writing it ever since.

I'm pretty sure I've only written six or seven poems--the rest were all just the same, edited, tweaked ad nauseum.

But thanks for grazing here. I've been trying to remember who that girl was so long ago.
