Mirrored Muses
Elizabeth And Seymour

~Marge Tindal~ 1999

I brought my library card
entered on a whim
softly I did enter
the library of
'her' and 'him'

'He' stirs her pen
to write response
to 'his' poetic phrase
'She' in answer does reply
with elegance and grace

'She' lights the lamp
by which 'he' sees
into the soul
of 'her' epopees

I read in awesome wonder
the 'lovers' on the page
before me opened
on Passion's romantic stage

The 'he'
the 'she'
write 'forever' words
that will live
in my heart
forever

Marge,
Yes, I am very much influenced by Sy's poetry
But I hope his isn't influenced by mine. I like his style the way it is. But we do get along well, don't we? He's a dear.
Thanks for this, Marge. It's so sweet

Astraea~ Thank you.

PoetFemmeFatale -

I can't think of two finer
poets who inspire one another
to write such beautiful works
of art.
They'll love it allright !
Two that I would buy if they
were in print.  And I would
whole-heartedly encourage them
to do a he/she series of beautiful
romantic poetry for publication.

Elizabeth, my dearest ...
Oh, yes ... you and Seymour
are a beautiful duo of the most
lovely poetry ... each mirroring
the other.  You BOTH have glowed
with the introduction of your muses.
WRITE ON MY FRIENDS !

Marge,
I would love to do a he says she says, but I'm afraid of what he's going to say, after that wine poem of his. Right now he's sailing the seas, so I guess it's alright. My guess is he's looking for a sunken galleon.
Thanks Marge

Ah... the wayfaring pirate !
His galleon is oft found ...
it's in his verse ...
a true pirate's purse !

A tankard of ale
to loose his tongue ...
another poem
has begun !

MARGE MARGE!

Balladeer's coming to rescue me on his private jet! Just ask him!
What he wrote was just a front...I swear.
Has no one told you?
I'm so sorry...

This is a lovely tribute, my friend, full of grace and truth...

You write with such heart for others.

Of course there's 'nekkidness'
IT'S BALLADEER !

Heck, let's ask him?
BALLADEER - You gonna fly that
plane NEKKID ?

Now, honey child ... you just
be on the beach when the plane
lands.  If you're 'nekkidd' we
won't care ..... we'll whisk you
aboard anyway.

Vienna Sausages for all on board !
LOL .... wouldn't that be a fun trip?

I think he's ignoring us, Marge?

Let's go get some nets and hunt him down, he'll be easy to spot I'm sure.
he's not on the beach...he's flitting 'round
the trees...
