 Dear Ruth, Your day has passed and we missed it. Therefore, I (as the one announcing your birthday) give you an extra day to celebrate. Please know that you are thought of and missed. While I don't know you very well, I do admire you as a poet. I have spent many hours reading your poetry and learning from the beauty that you write and share with us.
