One of ours, Gentle Spirit, has been in a slight accident. She is ok, but bumped and bruised and will be checking in with the doctors for some possible neck strain. She won't be on-line for a few days, but could you please extend your prayers for a quick recovery? Thank you. |

I have more information. Donna was apparently hit broadside by a truck. Her seatbelt held her in, but she was thrown to the right, so she has some terrible bruising and a very sore neck. Police said, "thank God for the seat belt!" The driver of the truck admitted to it being his fault; hopefully all paperwork and whatever else necessary for her to get things done will go smoothly [unless the guy retracts his statement.] Thank you for joining in with prayers. She will be going back to the doctors for more exams and the like, right now she is on pain medication, but I will pass on your thoughts. To all of you?  |

God bless you all. I am doing ok, I go to the doctors tomorrow but find that as much as I wanted to be able to spend a little time finally reading I can't seem to sit for more than a few moments at a time. I am having terrible time turning my head at the moment or even holding it up and the pain meds they have me on seem to help everything except for the incredible headache that I've had since I woke up Tuesday morning after the accident. Between the truck and the brick wall I was thrown into I feel like I was run over more than just tossed around. I don't believe anyone can realize what this place can do for ones moral and how much it means to know that everyone is praying for a quick recovery. Again, thanks to all and God Bless you all.
