Hello Friends, I'm back from spending 4 days on the cardiac floor of our local hospital courtesy of a bout of chest pain that started around 2:30AM on Sat. I went into the hospital following abnormal EKGs in the doctor's office two weeks ago and continued with abnormal EKGs in the ER Sat morning. The good news is, after 4 days of extensive testing including many scans, ultasounds, echocardiograms and a stress test...the doctor's couldn't find a thing wrong with my heart or lungs and I left the hospital today with better EKGs than I had when I went in. Who says prayer doesn't work!!!!! I see my medical doctor again in 2 weeks and he'd like to schedule me with my surgeon just to do some scopes to rule out any major problem with the GI system, small change when compaired to the heart  I'm still a bit wore out from hospital life, but feeling much better than Sat and I can go back to work this Fri night. After 4 hospitalizations within a year, I'm hoping 2003 is a bit kinder in the health department.Thank you all for your kind words, your thoughts and your prayers. Love, Ruth |

Ruth...I'm so glad to hear this news! Problems with the heart can be so scary. I wish you the best as further tests are done to locate the cause of the chest pain. Hugs! |

I'm SURELY glad to hear this wonderful news... This will make for some pretty happy holidays... Only one problem I see, m'friend... Going back to work means going back to the HOSPITAL!!!...  Hey - We're in the final month here - Inducement is scheduled for the 26th.. |
