Dictated to me this evening, 6-20 in a phone conversation

"I just spoke to my doctors today and got the news back from the pathologist, the tumor was cancer, and malignant. They checked all the lymph nodes in the part of the lung they removed and found each one of them to be free of cancer. This means that I no longer have lung cancer or any kind of cancer in my body!! I think God has truly given me a miracle, answered everyone’s prayers…he isn’t through with me yet. All I need to do is go home and recover from the surgery and I’ll be back healthier than ever. They’ll be checking me every three months for five years, and once every year with a CAT scan to make sure the cancer hasn’t returned. I am at the lowest risk category stage one of lung cancer. I’m still fighting off a bad infection that could potentially turn into pneumonia if I’m not careful, but I’m on antibiotics and will be exercising. My breathing is fine, I’m not short winded…I feel normal, like I didn’t loose a half lung.

It’s not often you get to see the results of your prayers in such a hurry, and it’s not often that your prayers are answered in the way you want them to be answered, either. Your prayers were for me to be healed and whole again, and now I am. I thank each of you, and it’s hard to talk because I’m about to cry. It’s a good kind of cry. A relief. I’m grateful for the caring."

Miracles do happen!! Tell Michael to take his time healing so he is completely better!

Thanks for giving us this wonderful news, Martie,
I am so relieved and happy for Michael...
Prayer really does work, and we've seen it demonstrated at this site, many times...

You have all prayed for me, and my doctor couldn't find a trace of it,
but I still have another biopsy to face...just to make sure...and that scares me

But I am jus so HAPPY for Michael...I feel like jumping around and singing...but its too late at night and the neighbors would think me crazy....so I'll do it tomorrow.

Martie...do you know when he will be home from the hospital?

As I haven't been able to log on in a long time, I was unaware of Michael’s condition.

Miracles DO happen, and there is something to be said about the Power of Prayer.

I am happy to hear you're doing so well Michael and it's wonderful to have so many prayers behind you.

We can all thank God for such a positive outcome.

God bless each of you and thank you dearly for your prayers. Yes, I do honestly consider this to be a miracle and one I certainly don't feel as if I deserve. God apparently still has plans for my life and I only hope that I don't let Him down. Yes, He still answers prayers and still heals. Believe it, I do!
